Robbie Elbertse

I am Robbie Elbertse, a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, USA), where I am part of the Nanoscale Processes and Measurements Group. I completed my PhD in the OtteLab at Delft University of Technology, including a research stay at the Center for Quantum NanoScience in Seoul.

My work focuses on low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and electron spin resonance STM (ESRSTM), with an emphasis on atomic-scale spin physics, coherent control, and instrument development. I also work on cryogenic RF infrastructure and measurement methods that enable stable spectroscopy and spin control at the single-atom level.

I am happy to collaborate with researchers worldwide on STM, ESRSTM, and related cryogenic measurement platforms.
